Tuition and Financial Aid

MPH and Graduate Certificate Tuition

Financial assessment is often paramount in a student’s decision to apply, enroll, and remained enrolled in a graduate program. In an effort to equally serve our in-state and out-of-state students, the Master of Public Health program does not charge a higher tuition rate based on residency (tuition rates are consistent among students who are Michigan residents, non-Michigan residents, and international residents).

Per SemesterCost
Tuition per credit hour $725
Tuition for 3 credits of enrollment $2,175
Tuition for 6 credits of enrollment $4,350
Tuition for 9 credits of enrollment $6,525

MPH TotalCost
Tuition for 43 credits of enrollment $31,175

Graduate Certificate TotalCost
Tuition for 18 credits of enrollment $13,050

Please Note: In addition to the tuition pricing above, the university assesses taxes on the student registration bill. Please see the University Taxes and Fees section below.

University Taxes and Fees

In addition to program tuition rates, the university assesses taxes for the FM radio tax, COGS (Council of Graduate Students) tax, and State News tax. More information on late fees, taxes, and other financial information can be found on the Student Accounts website or by calling 517-355-3343.

Below is a table of easily avoidable late fees assessed by the university. To avoid paying late fees, please reference the university’s Academic Calendar for registration, enrollment, and payment deadlines.
